About the quest

I’m Marilyn. I appreciate beautiful leather handbags, waxed linen foraging bags, functional backpacks with lots of pockets and clips, a hot pink lined Tumi briefcase, my Kate Spade red leather satchel and a great market bag.  I own some of these and just lust after the others. As yet I have not found the perfect market bag yet so I’ve set out to design one to be as functional as possible, good looking and a joy to use.

I’m a former professional chef & still love to experiment with food and cook for friends and family. My passion for cooking leads to my enthusiasm

for shopping at specialty and farmers markets. I need the perfect shopping bag.
